According to our research, although some people get the results they can physically see or feel within a few days or weeks it is impossible to say how long it will take to work for you. My doctor does not know about Adult Stem Cell Therapy

Dr shakes his head "I have no faith in Adult Stem Cell surgery because too many people have died"

Whoa there cowboy! Again, a little different issue between Embryonic Stem Cells and Adult Stem Cells.. Adult Stem Cells have not had one single case of death that I could find. Reason being is that there are no risks involved with Adult Stem Cellls.. they are already in your body, have been in your body and will be there until the day that you meet your Maker. However, if you have evidence to the contrary, I am willing to bite my words :)

Dr with his chest out "I won't look at anything that the FDA have not approved"

That is a solid argument except that the FDA can take years to approve a treatment and if it were YOUR son or YOUR wife that needed help immediatly.. would you then research to see if the surgery was available elsewhere in the world? Would you then look into the success and failure rate and consider it a viable action? That being said, Supplements do not fall under the jurisdiction of the FDA. As a natural product, and a supplement at that, SE2 (Stem Enhances's upgrade) is not allowed to claim that it can heal, prevent or cure disease. I think that this is a shame but can understand the politics and prevention of lawsuits. But this product is showing amazing results and thankfully the users may use free speech and they do. I suppose it may be unfair of me to make a judgement on why any doctor in this day and age still have no idea about the power of Adult Stem Cells. For me, I have been under the erroneous impression that a doctor would research all possibilities for a patient - and I also assumed that if a medication failed that they would turn to natural products. This is simply just not the case generally speaking. At least not yet. For different reasons, time probably being the main one, doctors rely a lot on pharmaceutical reps for information on new medications. Having a doctor too arrogant to consider any options that HE/SHE did not come up with or know nothing about, doesn't just border on the irresponsible, I think it sucks.

Weight Events - improvement in training testimonials

A firefighter and paramedic, Jim Wetenhall has a demanding physical job. Six years ago I had my first heart attack, due to a restriction in one of the arteries of my heart. A “stent” was inserted to widen the artery, and I started taking prescription medication daily. My health improved considerably, until April 2007, when I had 6 heart attacks within 3 days.

The angiogram showed that the network of arteries on the right side of my heart were practically 100% dysfunctional, while those on the left side were 40% dysfunctional. A: I agree it would be good to speak with someone that knows your condition better. However, I also agree that most doctors are biased, especially, as you say, if they have never heard of StemEnhance and tend to disregard natural supplements anyway.

Diane says: This is a catch 22. Most doctors disregard most alternative medicines. However, the website has the chief scientists perspective and the research and findings are available on the website. My home doctor admitted me to me that he knew next to nothing about adult stem cells. I am meeting with him today and plan to refer him to the website. I want him on board - I love and trust him and want him working with me as I experience a life without chemicals - for the first time in twelve years.

I did things his way for 7 years and am still at the same place. I want better for myself and I want better for others. I will update this posting as things progress.

Q: All this current research on adult stem cells talks about a "transplant" of stem cell and I don't see how this reflects on what StemEnhance is supposed to do – is there anything that can connect the two (except from the fact the StemEnhance claims to do something with Stem Cells)? If there is, why not involving those researchers with the StemEnhance product? (It should save the need of a surgery or any other invasive technique).

A: This is a very good question, and perhaps less obvious than it might appear. The problem is both that most physicians are not interested in natural supplements, and also that the company is not actively trying to set up clinical trials, for legal and FDA-related reasons. Also, the philosophy of the company is to keep people healthy rather than trying to treat all these diseases after they occur. (As a physician, I have a little different perspective on that, since many people are already suffering from diseases and should also be able to experience the benefit of SE.)

Will StemEnhance promote cancer growth? Dr R says

Q: Isn’t it possible that StemEnhance, having trophic properties, might nourish the cancerous cells as well as the normal cells? How can we be sure that StemEnhance is not going to promote cancer growth?


A: This is a theoretical possibility, of course; but the data do not indicate that this actually happens.

A paper in preparation in mice with induced tumors shows that those animals fed StemEnhance had smaller, not larger, tumors than the control mice. This study was performed specifically to address the question of potential enhancement of tumor growth in people taking StemEnhance. It should be published and publicly available sometime in the next months.

Of course, we know from people with cancer who have taken StemEnhance that many of them have had a remarkable improvement in their condition by taking fairly high doses of this product (for example, 2 capsules 4× daily). In the US we cannot even tell people this because StemEnhance is a dietary supplement and as such is not FDA-approved to make any medical claims.

In cancer, by definition an abnormal process is taking place in the body.

StemEnhance stimulates the release of normal, healthy adult stem cells from the bone marrow. These are cells are normally circulating throughout the bloodstream and are attracted to areas of tissue injury, damage, or abnormal cellular activity (such as a tumor), where they respond by helping the tissue to recover normal function.

StemEnhance has a number of anti-tumor mechanisms including phycocyanin, which has been shown to have anti-proliferative and pro-apoptotic (programmed cell death-inducing) properties. It also contains chlorophyll, which likewise has demonstrated anti-tumor activity (probably a good part of the reason that green, leafy vegetables are healthy to eat).

In addition to stimulating the release of additional stem cells from the bone marrow, StemEnhance also stimulates the release of natural killer cells, immune system cells that help our bodies rid themselves of infected and abnormally proliferating (cancerous) cells.

Adult stem cells from the bone marrow are actually being investigated to treat a variety of conditions including cancer.
One final thought: if stem cells were bad for us, our bodies wouldn’t use them throughout life as a major component of our normal repair and regeneration system!

Type I diabetes - Dr R says

Q (from a family member of a child with Type I diabetes): As I understand it, the main problem of Type I diabetes is not stem cells, but immune system attack on the new beta cells of the pancreas grown by the stem cells. Anyone who is healing also has new stem cell production. So if we could make a new immune system or change the signature of the immune system, or change the signature of new beta cells then we are on the way to cure Type I diabetes?

A: You are correct in noting that some disease processes in the body are ongoing and caused by non-stem cell related problems. In general, there are several ways in which StemEnhance can help, or an entire spectrum of conditions that respond to increased stem cell circulation in various ways.

First is isolated conditions such as joint damage from a one-time injury. Adult stem cells can repair this damage over time, and if the person stops taking StemEnhance, the injury being permanently fixed, it will not recur.

A semi-permanent repair may also apply on a less complete level with, for example, gradual changes in the retina that precede macular degeneration, which occurs over a long, slow term course in most people. In these individuals, taking SE for some months may halt or reverse the damage, which may recur only gradually over time if they stop taking the product.

Finally, in systemic conditions caused by autoimmune processes, for example, taking a product that enhances stem cell circulation and also contains anti-inflammatory agents can both help to regenerate new cells and also decrease the abnormal physiological response that caused the problem in the first place. In such individuals, they may need to continue enhancing adult stem cell function over time to prevent the damage from recurring or to keep the autoimmune process under control.

I will look for some articles describing how stem cells can help autoimmune conditions and send these to you a little later.

You are also correct in assuming or understanding that many or most conditions are not primarily due to an adult stem cell deficiency per se. On one hand, some people respond to SE in such a fashion that their primary diagnosis might well have been 'adult stem cell deficiency'.

In others, perhaps the majority of people, enhancing adult stem cell function helps them because stem cells are the body's natural repair and regeneration system throughout life, and making this system to act optimally is simply part of a healthy lifestyle, just like eating properly and exercising and everything else that helps one to maintain optimal health.

To think about it this way, it is much better to avoid disease and maintain optimal health from the beginning, rather than waiting until something is wrong and trying to fix it. (Optimal health maintenance is actually the paradigm that StemTech advocates, rather than making claims about trying to cure any disease in particular.

As a physician, I see things a little differently in terms of who is most likely to experience the most benefit from such a product.

That was a very long answer to a short question, but I hope it helps address your concerns about how a stem cell enhancer can help a condition that is not primarily a stem cell deficiency.

ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease - Dr R says

Q (from a family member of a person with ALS - amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease): I have a question regarding ALS and I need your advice. Most chances are that my father suffers from ALS; he is having difficulty in breathing, eating, and he lost the ability to use his left hand. Each day it's getting worse and the doctors refuse to give him Rilute. Can Stem Enhance help him?? Can he take it with Coumadin?

A: While it's not possible to predict a response in any particular case, there is a definite possibility that StemEnhance can help your father.

Adult stem cells have the potential to heal and regenerate damaged tissue from a variety of causes, and they act through a number of repair mechanisms rather than by just a single action.

About taking StemEnhance with Coumadin, it is possible to do so. You should make the doctors aware that your father plans to take a natural supplement that contains vitamin K, so that they know to monitor his blood values. In this regard, StemEnhance is no different than any other green leafy vegetable that contains vitamin K.

Q: How can a dead cell signal that it's in trouble (in ALS neurons are dead)?

A: This is a very thoughtful question. There are several possible answers. First, damaged cells and tissues secrete chemical signals (called cytokines) that attract stem cells from the blood stream to the area of injury. These stem cells may then be able to prevent the injured cells from dying, or could replace the dying cells. Second, ALS or other motor neuron diseases have two components, the neurons and the muscle cells. Muscle cells are dependent on trophic signals from the nerves and will atrophy when they do not receive neuronal input; and likewise, nerves without attached muscles will die as well.

So whether the additional adult stem cells are able to regenerate neurons, which will take a long time (neurons grow about 1 mm/day), and/or are able to halt progression by providing trophic support to the muscles and thereby prevent continued neuronal death, or some other mechanism, is not clear.

The problem with ALS is that we know too little about the causes (otherwise it would be easier to find a cure), and so the best thing that can be done now is to support the body's natural repair system, even if we don't fully understand how it works.

NOTE from patients daughter: Two week follow up on this patient with ALS: My father went for a check up and the doctor found that his respiratory function tests have stabilized. He feels better and it seems like deterioration has stopped. His left hand got a little stronger. He is now taking 8 StemEnhance capsules a day.

Parkinson's - Dr R Says

Q (from a person with Parkinson's disease):
- Is it only an assumption that hematopoietic stem cells from the bone marrow reach the brain, or has it been proved in the lab (on mice, etc.)?
- Why would the body need to have bone marrow-derived stem cells in the brain if the brain produces its own type of stem cells? - Do these two types of SC target different brain tissues?
- How do we know that both stem cell types have neurogenerative and neurotrophic capabilities?
- Do neural stem cells always remain in the brain or could they in principle (or do they) leave the brain in the blood stream and reach other organs?
- StemEnhance has been shown to enhance the release of adult stem cells to the blood stream. Would it make sense to conjecture that it might also enhance the release of brain (neural) stem cells?

A: These are all very good questions. This is really at the edge of what we know about stem cells, and not all of the questions have clear-cut answers.

First, the focus on adult stem cells from the bone marrow is because SE specifically releases these cells by interacting with/inhibiting L-selectin, etc. It is not known whether StemEnhance releases stem cells from other tissues;

this would depend on whether they have the same molecular signatures and same release mechanisms as bone marrow-derived stem cells, that can respond to the inhibitory ligand for selectins. The reason we know that StemEnhance increases bone marrow-derived stem cells is because we can measure the level of cells in the blood stream that carry specific cell surface markers (such as CD34 and CD133). These markers are known to distinguish certain types of stem/progenitor cells in the hematopoietic system.

Adult stem cells from the bone marrow, have been shown in vitro to generate neurons and many other types of cells; several studies now have also injected bone marrow-derived stem cells into mice and shown generation of new neurons in the brain and retina and other tissues.

One reason, probably the major one, for using bone marrow-derived stem cells is their easy accessibility and relatively larger concentration. Most other tissues are thought to contain stem cells in very low quantity. Because the bone marrow is constantly generating new blood cells throughout life, it has a very active and relatively large (150 million cells) stem cell population. It is also a fluid, as opposed to solid, tissue, making purification much easier.

The other reason, which we are just learning, is that bone marrow-derived stem cells have a greater potential to become other cell types than previously recognized. Neural stem cells from the central nervous system are much more difficult to study and purify, and various parts of the brain may have different 'stem cell niches', where the environment dictates the range of new neurons that can be generated from stem cells in that particular area.

Adult stem cells from the bone marrow are not subject to this milieu effect and may therefore be more plastic with respect to their generative potential in the brain (conjecture at this point).

This stem cell benefits page (www.stemtechbiz.com) addresses the question of the trophic effects of adult stem cells in general, showing that these cells in general have many different beneficial effects.

(An excellent paper in the American Journal of Physiology http://herbalnutrition-for-naturalhealth.com/nutrition-blog.html - (Diane:??) on the acute trophic effects of bone marrow-derived stem cells clearly explains how adult stem cells could literally save the life of an elderly gentleman with renal failure who had refused dialysis and was clearly deteriorating.

As to whether neural stem cells leave the brain/spinal cord and travel elsewhere, I am not aware that this happens, or that it has specifically been addressed. Stem cells are both unique populations based on their ability to form specific cell types, and yet dynamically responding to their environment, so a stem cell in one area that carries certain markers might change its potential and plasticity by being in a different environment (the whole question in developmental biology regarding nature vs. nurture and inflexible genetic programming vs. environmental response - topic for discussion another time).

Difference between Embryonic and Adult Stem Cells? Dr R says

Q: What is the difference between embryonic and adult stem cells?

A: Embryonic stem cells are stem cells that exist in an embryo before birth. After birth, these cells (even in children) are known as adult stem cells. Adult stem cells still retain the capacity to divide, but they become quiescent until needed, rather than actively and rapidly dividing as embryonic stem cells do. The possibility exists for embryonic stem cells to cause abnormal cell growth. As much as we know from research to date, this possibility does not exist for adult stem cells. To date, all conditions for which stem cell therapy has proven therapeutic have been from adult stem cells.

Implantation of embryonic stem cells - Dr R says

Q: I have heard a story about a woman who had an implantation of embryonic stem cells and that caused more attacks. Have you heard about such a case? If not, do you think such a thing can happen?

A: I have not heard of such a case, but it would make sense that introducing foreign cells and foreign DNA could precipitate an immune response. Also, the attack may have been caused by contaminants in the embryonic stem cell preparation. Neither of these possibilities is a risk with StemEnhance because it is your own cells and your own DNA.

How long before improvement? Dr R says

Q: When approximately should I expect an improvement in my condition? is it a matter of weeks? months?

A: Each person varies with respect to the time it takes to notice differences. Sometimes it happens so slowly as to be imperceptible at first. The time to notice a difference may depend

on how long you have been symptomatic, but again, this is only a generalization and it could be weeks or it could be 2-3 months. The important thing is to be consistent in taking StemEnhance until you experience improvement.

Q: I have several health issues which I am fighting for a lot of years with no real improvement yet. From all points of view this product seems to be something that can REALLY help me according to what I have read so far, but I do not want to find myself under more problems if this may cause some harm - I have enough health issues already.

A: Although we can't predict in any given situation how (quickly) a person will respond, what I can tell you is that all of the health concerns that you mention [deleted to comply with FDA regulations] have responded with improvement to StemEnhance in other individuals.

Some people experience a detoxification reaction when they start taking StemEnhance. This type of reaction can manifest in various ways, such as a headache or other transient symptoms. This generally decreases over time and does not recur.

Drink plenty of water when starting, and start slowly with 1-2 capsules daily for several days before increasing gradually. Because you have specific concerns, probably 4-6 capsules daily (2 x 2-3 doses) would be ideal; however, being that cost is a concern you can start with less and still experience the benefit over perhaps a slower time period.

Also, some people are more sensitive to the benefits than others and a lower dose such as 1 capsule 2-3x daily is sufficient. It all depends on the person.

Q ( from a patient with multiple sclerosis): What is the recommended dose? On what time of the day should I take the pills? morning? evening? before/after meals?

A: For MS, the recommended dose would be up to 4 capsules 3x daily; or 2 capsules every 4 hours while awake (but see about starting slowly, below).
'Up to' means according to your tolerance and budget; it is not really possible to 'overdose' on StemEnhance. If you take them
3x/day, then morning, noon, and evening with meals is convenient. It can also be taken with a drink of water or juice. However you find it works best for you is fine. To be sure, you do not drink any diet soda, correct? This can be very bad for people with MS, as you probably know.

Some people experience detoxification-type symptoms when starting, such as a headache or flu-like symptoms, which can be from mobilizing and getting rid of toxins in the body. This is transient and can usually be alleviated by starting slowly, say, 2 capsules daily for 3 days,then 4 capsules daily for 3 days, and so on.

Equine - EPM or Possums Disease

In the summer of 2007, one hot day, I noticed one of my Quarter Horse mares was lying out in the hot sun. I went to get her up and she had trouble getting to her feet. She didn't walk right and she drug the tip of her foot when she walked. I thought she had gotten kicked by another horse. I called the Vet out and was treated as such.

I took her in to the Vet Clinic in a couple of days and was checked by the other Vet. He observed how she walked and checked her over. He pointed out that the muscle of her chest and her hip muscle was smaller than the left side. When he would push on her hind quarter, she had no resistance and would nearly fall over.

He determined that she had EPM or Possums Disease. This is caused by horses eating hay or feed that has Possums fecal matter or urine on it. Possums carry parasites, that when ingested by horses, they get into the blood stream, then they get into the spinal cord, to the base of the brain, or even the brain itself. It affects the nervous system in that it causes deterioration of the muscle usually on one side or the other. If un-detected it can cause death.

My Vet told me that recovery would be slow and it would take 90 days before I would see any improvement. He also said she could not be ridden again and would probably be just a Brood Mare. I gave her the medication that she needed on her feed and also started giving her Stem Equine for horses at the same time.

Within 3-4 days I could see an improvement. In 3 weeks time she had quit dragging the tip of her hoof. She also had renewed strength in her right hind quarter. The Vet was back to check on her on the third week. He could not believe how she had improved. He said it had to the Stem Equine, for horses just don't recover that fast.

Today she runs like any other horse, and she looks better than she ever has since I have owned her. Thank God for Stem Equine.

Hi my name is Lydia Culp and I ride a great mare named Roll The Stone, this mare has taken me to many 1D wins and she has more heart then any horse I have ever had the chance to ride. Stem Enhance, when ingested, stimulates the release of stem cells from within the body. I have always liked the idea of healing naturally. Here's what I've seen for results with my horses. I started feeding it to Kat a couple of months ago. He had just come off a two month rest after a terrible winter run of rodeos. We had fallen hard at Denver, and then he went down again at Ft. Worth. After that, he wasn't right for the next couple of rodeos, so I laid him off. The main problems that he was showing were rough, inconsistent turns, and breathing very labored after I would run or even practice at a 3/4 speed. He had bled several times after a competition as well.

Kat was on Stem Equine for about 3 weeks before I really tested him out in a run. I first noticed his turns were feeling amazing. He was using his body like he did before this winter. Secondly, his wind was very good. I could make a run, and he would not show any exertion whatsoever! I am 100% positive that he hasn't bled - although I haven't scoped him to see. He went on to win 4 first place checks at Pro Rodeos, and we hit a barrel to win one more. I competed at 7 rodeos altogether on him this summer.

I also put my horse Shadow on the Stem Tech, as well as Wittle. They both were amazingly strong - although Shadow's feet continued to give me problems at the end of his shoeings.

Recently, I have put my futurity colts on Stem Equine. Nestle had pulled back and strained her hocks. They had inflammation in them, and looked bad. I had the vet drain them and work on them. Then I wrapped and sweated them for a few days. I have continued with the Stem Equine, and feel like it is helping her to finish the healing process. I didn't have a lot of time to lay her off, and had to run her a few times to get ready for the futurities in Rapid City and Gillette. I am so glad that her hocks look good, and feel like the Stem Equine has contributed to her wellness.

Equine Fibromyalgia

I’m a long time breeder and licensed trainer of thoroughbred horses. I have also been involved in holistic health care for many years. One of my horses was diagnosed at three years old with equine fibromyalgia syndrome, which is similar to human fibromyalgia.

Pekingese - slow hearbeat

Dogs - soft tissue damage

Thalia, my 10 year old Rottweiler whom I rescued 3½ years ago, nearly passed over the end of July 2009. Dogs - severe adema, cataracts, arthritis

Why are the products not sold in stores or pharmacies?

Stemtech chose to go the MLN (Multi Level Networking) way to promote their product. This means that the product is only available through a distributer. From a marketing standpoint this avenue is a solid business plan.

The advantage to this method of distribution is many-fold.

1. Word of mouth is the MOST effective form of marketing. Proof is in the pudding! Within 4 years, these products are available in 22 countries and the number is climbing. Currently it is available in America, Australia, Canada, England, France, Germany, Japan, Kenya, South Africa etc.

2. Only a user can sell to another. So you are not being recommended to use a product by a doctor who is going on the word of a pharmacutical rep. Steve: "My grandchild Crystal, now 4 years old, was born with an immune deficiency. Since birth she had a constant runny nose and a lot of fluid on her lungs. Colitis and StemEnhance

Merlie Kluver: "I will be seventy-one years old soon. Since I was twenty-one, I have suffered from severe ulcerative colitis. All my life, I have taken drugs for this awful disease. Johan: 2004 I had my first heart attack, due to a restriction in one of the arteries of my heart. A “stent” was inserted to widen the artery, and I started taking prescription medication daily. My health improved considerably, until April 2007, when I had 6 heart attacks within 3 days. The company do not claim the product to cure or heal or prevent. There are huge legal ramifications for claiming cures. However, My understanding from reading testimonials from users is that this product is the closest thing to a universal panacea (a remedy for all disease or ills)that I have found. I base this on:

1. The product is 100% natural, not a single chemical to be found;
2. The product encourages the bone marrow to releases additional adult stem cells and thus accellerate the function that they are meant to to - repair and renew the bodies cells and tissues.
3. Thus whatever ails you, it stands to reason that if the cells and tissues are being repaired - there is little that cannot be fixed.

The two common forms of diabetes are due to either a diminished production of insulin (Type 1) or diminished response by the body to insulin (Type 2).
Type 1 diabetes is believed to result from an autoimmune reaction against pancreatic ß-cells. The condition remains largely subclinical (glycemia problems, food sensitivities, fatigue, weight fluctuations, overall reduced quality of life), until the amount of ß-cell mass is insufficient to secrete enough insulin to maintain normal blood glucose levels. Actual diagnosis is made when approximately 20% to 40% of the ß-cell mass remains, at which point insulin injection may be required. That being said, a novel hypothesis suggests that Type 1 diabetes might in fact be a stem cell disease.
